Paying homage to Stevie Ray Vaughn, the group plays his classic
song The House is a Rockin' with Jeremy playing the
second guitar solo backwards and behind his neck. |
The group pays
tribute to the great blind R&B artist Jeff Healey, playing his
version of I'm Tore Down with both Jeremy (on lead guitar) and
Jonny (on bass guitar) playing the first solo over the top of the
guitar the way the sightless Jeff Healey taught himself how to play. |
The J's spice up the classic slow oldies ballad Chapel of Love,
playing Elton John's rocked up version to a pleasantly surprised
crowd. |
In this second half of the long blues ballad Five Long Years,
the Blue J's pay tribute to Eric Clapton, one of the group's main
influences, by mimicking his version of the song. |
