HISTORY
The J's performing live at Mexicali Blues with guest artist Avram Pegas.
The group was originally formed to perform at their grandmothers (Savta) 80th birthday party at The Cupping Room in New York City. Since then, when their respective school schedules permit, they perform live (usually at least once a month) and are currently in the studio laying down tracks for their next CD.

Prior to 2005, the J's recorded 2 CDs. The first, a 4-song introductory sampler, was extremely well received by fans and industry professionals. The second is a commemorative event CD performed with 2 other groups - The NOGA Group, performing songs from their top selling CD Santorini, and Mike Augenti and his band PAWN SHOP BOUND.

In 2006, the Js completed and released their third and fourth CDs. The third, a live disc recorded at NJs famous Mexicali Blues Cafe. The CD is an 11-song compilation of blues and rock classics performed in the Js distinctive style. The fourth CD is a collection of covers of rock and blues classics from Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Doors, Jeff Healey, CCR and the Blues Brothers, recorded in Jon Witte's Music Machine Recording Studio in Hackensack, NJ.

While the first 2 Blue Js CDs are currently out of print, the 2 latest  CDs can be purchased by clicking here.
